Itinerary

Morning: Pick-up & Transfer to Senaru

• Our day begins with a pick-up from Bangsal Harbour, Senggigi, or Mataram.

• Drive to Senaru village (2.5–4 hours depending on location).

• Meet your guide and receive a briefing about the day trek.

• Start the trek from Senaru village (601 m), a lush and scenic village at the foot of Mount Rinjani.

Trek to Senaru Crater Rim

• The trek to Senaru Crater Rim (Plawangan Senaru) takes around 6-7 hours.

• Hike through dense rainforest, passing waterfalls, streams, and a variety of wildlife along the way.

• You will stop for breaks at Pos 1, Pos 2, and Pos 3, where your guide will provide interesting insights about the flora and fauna of the area.

• Enjoy lunch at the 3rd rest post, surrounded by tropical forest.

• The last stretch is a challenging uphill climb to the crater rim, where you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking views of Segara Anak Lake, the active Barujari volcano, and the summit of Mount Rinjani.

Sunset Views & Return

• Spend some time at the Senaru Crater Rim, taking in the stunning views of the lake, volcano, and surrounding landscape.

• Rest and enjoy a packed meal while you relax and admire the natural beauty.

• In the late afternoon, begin your descent back to Senaru village, arriving in the early evening.
